Clara grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia the daughter of a dress-maker, surrounded by the elements of fashion. Misha, a sculptor, emigrated from Ukraine and became an artisan in New York’s diamond district. Together they create timeless accessories infused with Clara’s flawless fashion sense and Misha’s artistry.
Inspired by the work of Peter Carl Faberge, and the roaring 1920’s the handbag collection is an elaborate combination of metal minaudiere boxes sugar coated with Swarovski Elements and sophisticated cabochons, luxury skins, special fabrics and bead work. Unlike other manufacturers, Clara Kasavina molds are original, frames hand-cast and the entire bag hand-sewn. . All additional production is also completed by hand in New York.
